Build websites for thousands of businesses, from anywhere in Europe

Alta Ignite is a fully remote team operated by Lanex Group, LLC in the United States, founded in 2019. We're small on purpose: everyone here ships real customer work every week.

How we work

Async by default

Most decisions happen in writing on the request board or in a shared doc, not in meetings. We keep synchronous calls rare and short, because a remote team spread across five time zones can't afford otherwise.

One request at a time

Every engineer, designer and writer works the same way we ask customers to: pick up one thing, finish it properly, ship it, then pick up the next. No juggling ten half-done projects.

Customer-facing by design

You'll see customer feedback directly on your work within hours, not filtered through three layers of account management.

Benefits

  • Fully remote, work from any EU-friendly time zone
  • Flexible hours built around a few hours of team overlap
  • Annual learning budget for courses, books and conferences
  • Company-wide offsite once a year
  • Home office setup budget for your first 90 days
  • Private health cover contribution for every full-time hire
  • Unlimited paid time off, with a 20-day minimum we actually enforce
  • Equipment refresh every three years

Our hiring process

  1. 01

    Application review

We read every application ourselves within 5 business days, no automated filtering.

  2. 02

    Intro call

30 minutes with the hiring manager on what you'd actually be doing, and whether async remote work suits you.

  3. 03

    Paid work sample

A short, realistic task close to the job itself, paid regardless of outcome. Usually 2-4 hours.

  4. 04

    Team interview

45-60 minutes with two future teammates, focused on how you think through tradeoffs.

  5. 05

    Offer

We move fast once we're sure; most candidates hear back within a week of the final interview.

Own the build for Growth and Scale customers, mostly custom React and Next.js marketing sites and light web apps behind a headless CMS.

Responsibilities

  • Ship 3-5 customer requests a week from our shared board, from scoping through deploy
  • Keep Core Web Vitals green across every site you touch
  • Pair with a designer and copywriter inside the same request thread
  • Review pull requests from two other engineers on your pod

Requirements

  • 4+ years building production React/Next.js applications
  • Comfortable owning a task end to end without a project manager relay
  • Experience with at least one headless CMS (Sanity, Contentful, Storyblok)
  • Written English strong enough to scope work directly with customers

WordPress Developer

Apply for this role

Build and maintain custom WordPress sites for our Launch and Growth customer base, from theme development to plugin integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Turn customer requests into scoped WordPress builds and edits
  • Maintain security patches and performance across a portfolio of managed sites
  • Build custom blocks and ACF field groups tailored to each client's content
  • Escalate anything that needs custom PHP beyond a plugin's scope

Requirements

Product Designer

Remote, Europe preferred · Full-time

  • Maintain and extend our internal component library across projects
  • Sit in on customer review calls for Scale accounts and take feedback live
  • Hand off clean, dev-ready Figma files with real content, not lorem ipsum

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product or web design shipped to production, portfolio required
  • Fluent in Figma including auto layout, variables and component variants
  • Comfortable making a call on typography, spacing and hierarchy without a brand book
  • Bonus: basic HTML/CSS so you can sanity check what's technically fast to build

  • Own incident communication on the status page from detection to resolution
  • Write and maintain our self-serve help guides as product changes

Requirements

  • 1-2 years in technical support, ideally for hosting, SaaS or agency clients
  • Working knowledge of DNS records, SSL and common email client setup
  • Calm, clear writer under pressure during an incident
  • Basic comfort reading logs or a WordPress/Next.js error to describe it to an engineer

  • Organised enough to manage 30+ partner relationships without anything slipping
